Get carded

Pickup lines often lose their cachet when you receive a boring business card at the end of a flirtfest. But thanks to Linda Miller’s recently launched style-card.com, you can still look cool while offering your contact info. After leaving her Internet job four years ago to become a full-time mom, Miller missed having business cards to dole out at social gatherings. “I didn’t have an identity,” she says. In turn, she created these social networking cards that list random nuggets of information about the carrier, from what you do and where you blog to the fact that you’re a cuddler. The user-friendly website offers a blank canvas with graphic design 101 instructions, so it’s a cinch to upload your choice of photos or graphics and text. The 20 percent recycled cards come in sets of 80 for $59 (plus shipping and handling) and arrive about a week after you place an order. “There are so many people out there with jobs but want to be something or somebody [else],” Miller says. Now’s your chance. Available at style-card.com.
